Please treat our staff with the same respect you would expect to receive.

Attending our hospitals in hot weather
If you're coming to our Emergency Departments during this period of hot weather, please bring only one relative or carer with you. This is to help us keep everyone more comfortable during this extreme heat episode and reduce overheating in our waiting rooms.
Infection prevention guidance for visitors
To protect our patients, please do not visit our wards if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, or have had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last 48 hours.
To help us reduce and control the risk of infection, particularly Norovirus and Influenza (flu), please:
- avoid visiting our hospitals unless absolutely necessary.
- do not visit if you are unwell, including with cold- or flu-like symptoms or if you have had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last two days.
- do not bring food you have prepared at home.
- do not bring young children into ward areas.
