If you are coming to one of our hospitals to visit a family member, friend or loved one, please read the information below carefully.

The information here is to keep everyone at our hospitals safe during visits.

Ward visits

To protect our patients, we may restrict access to visiting times in some of our wards and departments. These changes will be listed below.

Infection prevention guidance for visitors

To protect our patients, please do not visit our wards if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, or have had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last 48 hours.

 To help us reduce and control the risk of infection, particularly Norovirus and Influenza (flu), please:
  • avoid visiting our hospitals unless absolutely necessary.
  • do not visit if you are unwell, including with cold- or flu-like symptoms or if you have had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last two days.
  • do not bring food you have prepared at home.
  • do not bring young children into ward areas.
