Community Insights into Avoidable Emergency Department Attendances is a research report exploring why people access Emergency Departments when alternative services may be available.

Developed through extensive engagement with local communities, the report highlights public experiences, perceptions of NHS services, and opportunities to improve understanding of available healthcare options. 

The findings will help inform future work with communities to co-design interventions aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing pressure on hospital services.
