Our Trust is always looking for patient feedback on services we provide and when we are looking at designing a new service. We hold engagement events for specific services and also offer a chance for people to tell us their thoughts via online surveys.

Tell us your views

Our latest survey is to help us understand how you like to access diagnostic tests, which include CT scans, x-rays, MRI scans and blood tests.

We'd be grateful if you would share your thoughts because your opinions will help us shape the service at the new Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) we are opening in mid and south Essex.

Proposed changes to services at local community hospitals

The NHS across mid and south Essex is committed to ensuring that local healthcare services meet the needs of our community now and in the future.

We are holding a public consultation and inviting local people to give their views on potential changes to:

  • the locations where we provide some of our inpatient services for community hospital intermediate care and stroke rehabilitation, and freestanding midwife-led birthing services; and
  • the possibility of moving all other patient services at St Peter’s Hospital, Maldon to other locations, mostly in and around Maldon.

We want to hear from as many people as possible. It is vital that you let us know of any concerns you might have and whether or not you support the proposal.

The proposals have been developed by local clinical leaders and other health experts. They have taken into consideration a number of factors to ensure we improve healthcare services in the area.

Visit the Virtual Views website for more information about the consultation and to have your say.
