NHS England wait times

Please be aware that the My Planned Care website shows the average waiting time for all sub-specialties within the clinical specialities across all three of our main hospital locations. This calculation is based on the data our Trust supplies and it is accurate. However, the average includes clinically urgent patients who will be seen more quickly. Also within each specialty, there will be some sub-specialties with longer waiting times than others depending on the demand for the service and our capacity within the service.

Infection prevention guidance for visitors

To protect our patients, please do not visit our wards if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, or have had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last 48 hours.

 To help us reduce and control the risk of infection, particularly Norovirus and Influenza (flu), please:
  • avoid visiting our hospitals unless absolutely necessary.
  • do not visit if you are unwell, including with cold- or flu-like symptoms or if you have had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last two days.
  • do not bring food you have prepared at home.
  • do not bring young children into ward areas.
