Publications Repository
The repository is a single place to find all published research authored by staff and students whilst working at the Trust.
This will give staff kudos, raises the profile of the Trust and will give our patients confidence that research is taking place within the Trust.
Authors may supply lists of their publications, and these can be added for the time that they are affiliated with MSE (or the pre-merged Trusts) from 2008 to present.
Our strategy
We have engaged and worked with our partners and local stakeholders to develop our five-year research strategy.
This sets out how we will create and embed local, national, and international research opportunities for our patients, communities and staff which will translate into high quality and sustainable care for our patients.
It highlights our intentions as the largest acute provider within mid and south Essex to influence and be more active in bringing research to our patients and staff.
We will focus on improving, not only delivery of funded research, but also explore opportunity to take part in new research that meets the needs of the people we serve.
As the only provider of acute services across Mid and South Essex we are able to support a wide range of research, and link closely with our system partners across primary and community care to bring research opportunities to all our patients.
We explore four key themes throughout the strategy. These are:
- Patients and population - with focus on local needs and reducing inequalities.
- People (staff) - with focus on increasing capacity and capability for research.
- Portfolio (of services and assets) - focusing on building on our assets.
- Partnerships - gearing towards more collaboration both internally and with external partners.
