New magazine launched celebrating local hospitals
A magazine featuring news about all the fantastic work by staff and new developments to help improve patient care and experience across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, has just had its first issue released.
Your Hospitals is a 16-page quarterly magazine which is aimed at patients, visitors, the local community and staff across Basildon, Broomfield and Southend hospitals, as well as its smaller sites.
The debut winter issue features a centre page spread detailing all the winners of the first ever Trust-wide staff awards evening, the Shine Awards, with trainee clinical scientist Amy Coward and her award as the main cover star.
It also features images of the exciting development for the front entrance of Basildon Hospital, news of how a mural at the fracture clinic at Broomfield is bringing smiles to young patients and a story about how radiotherapy care for lung patients at Southend has reached a patient milestone.
