After your baby is born
Giving birth is a life-changing, emotional event, and sometimes your maternity journey may change due to circumstances beyond our control. This may leave you with unanswered questions and cause anxiety.
For more information on navigating these challenges, visit https://www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/labour-and-birth/after-the-birth/what-happens-straight-after.
So how can we help if this happens?
We have a service available where you can meet with a midwife, doctor, or healthcare provider and discuss your experience in confidence and with access to your notes to try and alleviate these fears and prepare you for your future.
